Once sweet and sour

Twenty years ago

We were drinking

Pink champagne

On ice

In a bathtube at the Plaza

Then

We’d enjoyed

Phantom of the Opéra

At Broadway

Was so fantastic and thrilling!

And we finished in beauty

At Balthazar café

Having a nice “Entrecote”

with French fries

Enjoying a glass of wine…

To my mind in waves.

It was just a perfect day

Thought. It was 20 years ago
